Feel Good Meals loves businesses that love food. We are so lucky to live in a community where we can enjoy all different kinds of foods and beverages, and even work with some of the best food and beverage businesses in town! We love Lively Orchards, and they love Feel Good Meals. Read on to learn more about where we are getting this week’s local Fuji apples.

What is Lively Orchards?

Lively Orchards is a 3rd generation family farm. They grow a varieties of different apples, as well as cherries in the month of May and Asian pears from August - September.

When were they established?

They bought the farm in 1970.

Why do we love Lively Orchards?

Fresh, locally grown apples are the only way to go for the most delicious and flavorful meals! Lively Orchards is part of the Blue Ridge Farm Direct Market Association, which is an organization of Henderson County Apple Growers that sell fresh apples to the public at farm stands and roadside markets. Henderson County is one of the leading producers of apples in the Southeast, producing over 85% of the apples grown in North Carolina.
