“Who doesn’t love Prime Rib! Now you don’t have to go to a fancy steak house to get that great cut of meat. Here is how you can prepare it yourself.” -Chef Ant
What you’ll need:
~1 roast
16 lb ribeye, trimmed
1/2 cup kosher salt
1/4 cup black peppercorns
1/4 cup dried rosemary
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup dried sage
1/4 cup blended oil
Instructions:
Trim rib roast appropriately
In a stainless steel bowl, mix the remaining ingredients until well combined.
Rub the roast with the spice/oil mixture
Bake at 500 degrees for 10 min, then lower temp to 275 degrees
Usually it’s about 15 minutes per pound, but roast should be cooked to 120 degrees internal temperature
Once it reaches that internal temperature, remove from oven and let it rest for 15 minutes until slicing and serving
