“Who doesn’t love Prime Rib! Now you don’t have to go to a fancy steak house to get that great cut of meat. Here is how you can prepare it yourself.” -Chef Ant

What you’ll need:

~1 roast

  • 16 lb ribeye, trimmed

  • 1/2 cup kosher salt

  • 1/4 cup black peppercorns

  • 1/4 cup dried rosemary

  • 1/4 cup garlic powder

  • 1/4 cup dried sage

  • 1/4 cup blended oil

Instructions:

  • Trim rib roast appropriately

  • In a stainless steel bowl, mix the remaining ingredients until well combined.

  • Rub the roast with the spice/oil mixture

  • Bake at 500 degrees for 10 min, then lower temp to 275 degrees

    • Usually it’s about 15 minutes per pound, but roast should be cooked to 120 degrees internal temperature

  • Once it reaches that internal temperature, remove from oven and let it rest for 15 minutes until slicing and serving
